Our next maintenance period will be from 1 PM on Friday, March 15 until the evening of Sunday, March 17. During this time, compute nodes will be unavailable.
We will be performing power maintenance for our data center and firmware updates on nodes and switches. You will receive an email when maintenance is complete.
Most notably, we will be decommissioning the /scratch2 file system. Please transfer your data out of /scratch2 before March 15. Data currently stored in /scratch2 can be migrated to either /scratch1 or /project. For instructions on transferring your data, see CARC’s data transfer user guides.
As a reminder, the /scratch file systems are intended only for temporary and intermediate data storage, not for long-term storage. The majority of your data should be stored in your /project directory.
