We will be conducting a data purge on /scratch2 during a maintenance period from Friday, June 10th @ 2:00 PM to Monday, June 13th @ 8:00 AM. /scratch2 is consistently close to it’s capacity limit, so CARC will begin regularly performing data purges in order to reduce capacity.
Please back up any files you do not wish to lose as soon as possible. For instructions on transferring your data, please see CARC’s User Guides.
As a reminder, the /scratch file systems are intended only for temporary and intermediate data storage , not for long-term storage. The majority of your data should be stored in your /project directory.
