CARC will be performing scheduled maintenance starting 10:00 AM on December 14 and ending the evening of December 16, 2023. During this time, file systems and compute nodes will be unavailable.
We will be performing file system maintenance, upgrading Slurm, and upgrading CUDA drivers.
We are not performing a data wipe on the /scratch fie systems this time. Instead, we are asking that you please remove unnecessary data from /scratch2 as soon as possible. As a reminder, the /scratch file systems are intended only for temporary and intermediate data storage, not for long-term storage. The majority of your data should be stored in your /project directory.
Data in the scratch file systems are not backed up. Before removing data, please back up any files you do not wish to lose. For instructions on transferring your data, please see CARC’s User Guides.
